Ready for Scrubs: The Next Generation?

Scrubs by Mitch Haaseth/ABC

Now that Scrubs has moved to ABC, do they have any plans to change the show at all?

Well, not right away. Steve McPherson, president of ABC Entertainment, confirmed that J.D. and the gang will look and perform pretty much the same as they always have for this coming season. After that, McPherson says he'll have to talk to star Zach Braff and exec producer Bill Lawrence, but that he's open to the idea of rebooting the series with a new, perhaps younger cast, a la ER. (There's a Scrubs panel in a few hours, so stay tuned for more...)

What do you think? Is Scrubs' success in its casting, or can you imagine a younger cast taking over for the Sacred Heart crew? Who would you cast as the new interns? Amanda Bynes and Frankie Muniz, call your agents! - Mickey O'Connor
