Survivor was the night's most-watched program, delivering 13.06 million total viewers, a week-to-week gain of 460K.
Smallville scored 3.8 mil, up a hair from its last fresh outing.
9 pm
Lost lost a mil from last week, hitting a new season low of 11.87 mil (but still dominating the demos).
Apprentice (8.1 mil), too, took a hit, to the tune of 700 thou. At 2.8 mil,
Reaper was up 160K from its last new episode, but fell 420K shy of time-slot regular
Supernatural's most recent audience.

Eli Stone (7.3 mil) slipped just a bit, while
Lipstick Jungle (5.56 mil) dropped 340 thou.
In other ratings news, Wednesday's
Top Chef premiere (2.26 mil) was up 11 percent over the Bravo series' previous opener. Likewise,
South Park's Season 12 launch (3.07 mil) was up over No. 11. That led
Lewis Black's Root of All Evil to a 2.31 mil debut, which in turn boosted
The Daily Show to its biggest audience (2.25 mil) since October.
