Jump In roped in an audience of 8.2 million total viewers, making it Disney Channel's most-watched telecast ever, even surpassing the previous benchmark (7.8 mil) set by
High School Musical. That same night's debut of
Cory in the House, meanwhile, drew 7.6 million, making it basic cable's second-most-watched program of the day, behind
Jump In.
