Talk-show host Rosie O'Donnell is taking over as editorial director of McCall's magazine and relaunching it as Rosie's McCall's beginning in the spring. "I would say this magazine is going to be less spiritual than Oprah [Winfrey]'s magazine, more realistically crafty than Martha Stewart's magazine [and] with a lot more of my annoying Democratic political agenda in the middle," O'Donnell said at a Manhattan news conference Thursday, adding that she does not see herself as Winfrey's rival. "I've never considered Oprah as [the] competition. She, in my opinion, is the winner, hands down." In other words, the gloves are off!
