Project Runway Walks to Lifetime; NBC Files Suit

Project Runway producer The Weinstein Co. has inked a five-year deal to move cable's top-rated reality skein to Lifetime, where Season 6 would premiere in November, Variety reports. Of course, that's if Bravo owner NBC Universal can let go. The media conglom has filed suit in New York Supreme Court to retain the program, a move met with a shrug by the defendant. "We believe that this lawsuit is without merit," Weinstein's counsel tells the trade. "[It] is always unfortunate when parties try to win in court what they have lost in the marketplace."
