), as well as best actor in a comedy film winner George Clooney
. Also spotted in the crowd: John Leguizamo

, Hugh Grant
, Chad Lowe
and Hilary Swank
, Camryn Manheim
, David Allen Grier
, Jane Seymour
(with her Miss Golden Globe daughter Katie Flynn
), Kirsten Dunst
, Hugh Hefner
(with an armful of Playmates, natch) and Brad Rowe
While some celebs took time to chat with the press stationed outside the bash, Miss Congeniality nominee Sandra Bullock made a beeline for the entrance without even posing for photographers. (The humanity!) At least Will & Grace's Eric McCormack, who lost the best actor in a comedy series statue to Frasier's Kelsey Grammer, prepared an excuse. "My wife is snatching my pants and saying, 'Let's dance!'"
Stars of ABC's Once and Again traded gushes on their way into the soiree. "He brings out the best in me," Sela Ward, a winner for best actress in a drama series, said of her leading man, Billy Campbell. "I share this with him. It's not a one-woman show by any means." Campbell admitted that he knew Ward would prevail. "I told her beforehand that it was going to happen."
Ward said she hoped her win will bring more viewers to her ratings-plagued drama. "We haven't had a permanent home," she told TV Guide Online. "It's hard for fans to find us and I hope it'll draw attention to what I think is just and awesome show."
Anne Heche paraded around her new boytoy, cameraman Coley Laffoon, who appeared quite relaxed in the company of Ellen DeGeneres's ex. He proceeded to tell TV Guide Online about his first encounter with the Ally McBeal guest star. "We met in her living room," he explained. "She offered me a tuna sandwich." Laffoon was introduced to Heche last summer while shooting a documentary on DeGeneres's comedy tour. "[Anne] hired me... I was working for her."
Christine Lahti told TV Guide Online she was relieved the focus has moved off of her previous Golden Globe bathroom antics and onto Renee Zellweger, who was powdering her nose when Hugh Grant announced her as the best actress in motion picture comedy for Nurse Betty. "She can carry the torch and pass it on to somebody else," Lahti cracked. "I'm done with it. It's all hers."
