Panettiere Dad Accused of Striking Mom

Hayden Panettiere's father, Alan, was arrested on a felony spousal assault charge early Monday morning and released on $50,000 bail.
Alan Panettiere, 49, was arrested around 3 am/PT at the family's West Hollywood home, sheriff's officials told TVGuide.com.
He was released a few hours later, Sgt. Rudy Walker said.
A fight broke out at the family's home after a party, and Alan Panettiere struck his wife, Lesley Vogel, on the face, Sgt. Scott Wolf said.
"There were a couple strikes on the left cheek," Wolf said. "He felt disrespected at a party."
The couple had attended a benefit Sunday night for the
Whaleman Foundation at
Eva Longoria's Beso restaurant in Hollywood, which was hosted by Hayden Panettiere.
