O'Neal Pleads Guilty to Disorderly Conduct Charges

Actress Tatum O'Neal pleaded guilty Wednesday to disorderly conduct charges in connection with her cocaine possession arrest earlier this month.

The AP reports the judge ruled O'Neal, 44, must attend two half-day sessions in a drug treatment program and pay a $95 surcharge.

O'Neal, who has publicly described her struggles with drugs over the years, was busted by cops near her Manhattan home. She blamed her drug relapse on being distraught over the recent death of her 16-year-old Scottish terrier.

If she satisfies the judge's orders by her next court date in September, the case will be dismissed. - J.R. Whalen
