Do the New Kids Have the Right Stuff?

Talk about a trip down memory lane especially coming from a girl who had the New Kids poster-sized wall clock hanging in her room back in the '80s. Earlier this morning on the Today show, for the first time since 1994, Jordan, Joey, Donny, Danny and Jonathan reunited to play the debut of "Summertime," the first single off their new album. The boy band was received with hundreds of loyal, screaming fans standing in the pouring rain (some of who camped out 48 hours prior to be able to see them). The guys must have been well aware there would have been a riot if they didn't perform some of their old school hits, so they gave the hordes of women what they wanted a medley of all their classics. It's pretty clear their voices have changed since their teeny-bopper days, but the rabid fans didn't seem to care in the slightest.

How do you think the guys sounded? Was it as big of a blast from the past for you as it was for me? Do you plan on buying their new album, or should they have left their legacy alone?
