Fletch: The Jane Doe Edition DVD slated for release on May 1 boasts a digitally remastered picture and includes the new featurettes "Just Charge It to the Underhills: Making and Remembering
Fletch," "From John Cocktoaston to Harry S. Truman: The Disguises," and a compilation of favorite
Fletch moments. (I was only kidding about the sandwiches and ball bearings, though it
is all ball bearings these days.) I don't usually single out DVD releases in their own news item, but this is one of the funniest, most quotable films of all time, and exceptions
will be made.
