NBC's
Momma's Boys will arrive on TV sets Oct. 29,
Variety reports.
The
Ryan Seacreast-produced show will inherit the 9 pm Wednesday timeslot vacated by
America's Got Talent.
Deal or No Deal was originally scheduled for the take-over, but will be benched for six weeks for
Boys' run.
Yet another reality dating competition show,
Boys will challenge 32 gals to flirt their way into the hearts of three bachelors. And yes, as the title suggests, they're momma's boys, which means all three mommas will be on the show as well, no doubt having final say.
In a vote of confidence, NBC has also commenced a
casting search for the second season because how can a Seacrest-backed show fail? -
