Michael Lohan Expects Lindsay to Attend Her Grandfather's Funeral

Despite their recent differences, Michael Lohan "fully" expects his daughter Lindsay to attend the wake and funeral of his late father, Richard, who passed away Wednesday evening from colon cancer, he told TVGuide.com.

"I fully expect Lindsay and my other three children [Michael, 20, Ali, 14, Cody, 12] to be at the wake and funeral. My father was a wonderful father, man and grandfather," he told us. "I fully expect [ex-wife] Dina to instill the morals, decency and respect a parent should instill in their children!"

His father's death culminated a tumultuous day for the family. In the morning, Lindsay, 22, and gal pal Samantha Ronson took to their MySpace blogs to blast Lohan for calling the DJ a "drug" and telling media she was writing a tell-all.

Lohan revealed to TVGuide.com on Wednesday that it was Dina who let him in on the book plans and that he has a TV special in the works that will clear the air.

But for now, his main concern is reuniting the estranged clan to pay respect to the family patriarch.

"It is time now to put our differences aside and use this time as an opportunity to put our love, forgiveness and priorities 'as a FAMILY' back in place," Lohan said. - Joyce Eng
