Lifetime Enlists JAG Beauty, Shuts Angela's Eyes
First, you got David James Elliott back on your screens (on
Close to Home), now his
JAG leading lady is bound for her own new TV gig. Lifetime has granted a 13-episode series order to
Army Wives, an ensemble drama starring
Catherine Bell, Kim Delaney, Brigid Brannagh (
Over There) and Sally Pressman as military men's missus. Shot on location in Charleston, South Carolina,
Army Wives is set for a March bow.
In other Lifetime news, the cabler has opted not to pick up second seasons of either
Angela's Eyes or
Lovespring International (starring the always-fab Jane Lynch).
