Lifetime Applies Blush to Schedule
A new reality series has Lifetime blushing.
The network is developing
Blush: The Search for America's Greatest Makeup Artist as a companion series to its newly acquired
Project Runway,
Variety reports.
Set for a November debut,
Blush will hope to do for makeup artists what
Runway does for designers. Eight beauticians will vie for a one-year contract with Max Factor, $100,000 and a gig with a major magazine cover shoot.
Lifetime has ordered six episodes of the show, which will be produced by Laura Fuest, the woman behind
The Pussycat Dolls Present: Girlicious.
Host and judges have yet to be announced - neither has a Tim Gunn-style mentor for contestants. Here's hoping Lifetime can "make it work." -
