LATIN GRAMMYS HONOR SANTANA

Carlos Santana, who picked up eight Grammys in February, was one of the big winners at last night's first annual Latin Grammys. The veteran guitarist won three awards, including Record of the Year and Best Rock Performance for "Corazon Espinado," his duet with the Mexican band Mana. He also took home the trophy for Best Pop Instrumental Performance for "El Farol." Luis Miguel won Album of the Year and Best Pop Album for Amarte es un Placer, as well as Best Male Pop Vocal Performance for the song "Tu Mirada." Shakira also made a splash at the inaugural event, held at Los Angeles's Staples Center and televised on CBS. The Colombian rocker won for Best Female Pop and Rock Vocal Performances for "Ojos Asi."
