Kristen Bell has been cast in what is being pegged as a "key multi-episode arc" for the second season of
Heroes. Per
Variety, Bell will first appear in October as Elle, "a sexy, mysterious young lady who (
Spoiler alert) has ties to the supposed death of Peter, H.R.G.'s past and Claire's future. Landing the in-demand actress "was not easy to pull off,"
Heroes creator Tim Kring tells the trade. "But since we're an ensemble show, with many arcs playing out through the year, we found a way to jump into a small window in (Bell's) schedule."
