John Cusack Gets Political in Anti-McCain Ad

John Cusack is going to bat for his political beliefs this week. The actor's appearing in a new, 30-second spot in which he asserts that, if Sen. John McCain were voted into the White House, he would continue President Bush's policies to an extent that would render their administrations identical.

In the ad, produced by MoveOn.org, Cusack challenges viewers to distinguish between the two with a pop quiz of sorts:

Cusack discussed the ad with the AP, saying, "I know my opinion doesn't matter more than anyone else's and I just make films. But I do feel you have to speak out, and that's what I'm doing."
