Jason Bateman (
It's Your Move,
Arrested Development) has inked a one-year first-look deal with 20th Century Fox TV, under which he will develop TV series as well as produce and direct projects, says
Variety.
Bateman recently was tapped to to direct the pilot for
Do Not Disturb (Fox's hotel-based comedy starring Jerry O'Connell), and he's also lending his voice to the animated series
Sit Down, Shut Up.
Bateman says he has several ideas kicking around, and hopes to model his producing career on that of Ron Howard. -
