James Garner has suffered a minor stroke.
Entertainment Tonight reports that Garner, 80, underwent surgery and his prognosis is described as "good."
Garner most recently starred on ABC's
8 Simple Rules, but is best known for his role as Jim Rockford in the 1970s detective drama
