Hopkins by Jeff Neira/ABC
Viewers were definitely not afraid to see the doctor. Thursday's premiere of
Hopkins on ABC registered 5.8 million viewers for the net, and built upon on its lead-in by 2.4 million sets of eyeballs. Good enough to win its 10 pm/ET time slot.
TVNewser.com reports
Hopkins, a six-week series examining life inside Baltimore's Johns Hopkins hospital, eeked out the win over CBS's
Swingtown by just 100,000 viewers.
For ABC, it was the best summertime, non-sports, 10 pm perfomance in two years. -
