Heroes Recruits Superman, Hostel Scribes

Askewniverse auteur Kevin Smith is not the only film scribe on board for
Heroes: Origins, the spring 2008 offshoot of NBC's hit drama. The trades are reporting Monday morning that both Eli Roth (
Hostel) and Michael Dougherty (
Superman Returns,
X-Men 2) are suiting up to write and/or direct episodes.
The six-episode
Heroes: Origins will launch in the spring, after the mother ship's sophomore run has ended, and will concern enabled characters not previously seen on the series. Viewers will then vote on which newbies they would like to see join our band of merry men and women for Season 3.
