Harry Hamlin Sails into Harper's Island

Harry Hamlin has sailed into a role on CBS' upcoming
Harper's Island, a horror drama series expected to air midseason.
The series will focus on a group of friends who are terrorized on an island off the Seattle coast, where they've met for a destination wedding. Hamlin will play the gregarious, womanizing uncle of the groom (
Ugly Betty's Christopher Gorham), says the
Reporter. (The role was played by
Bill Pullman in the "drama presentation" originally shown at TCA, but you always had a feeling that was done as a favor to someone.)
In addition to showing off his footwork on a season of
Dancing with the Stars, Hamlin - an original
L.A. Lawyer - had a run on
Veronica Mars. -
