MORE HBO DEALINGS: FONTANA & LEVINSON

HBO is working with veteran producers Tom Fontana and Barry Levinson on developing an original movie based on the 1995 book Shot in the Heart, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The autobiography tells the story of the dysfunctional family life of author Mikal Gilmore and his older brother, Gary Gilmore, who in 1977 became the first person executed in the U.S. after a 10-year death-penalty hiatus.
