Grey's pals in attendance were Sandra Oh and Kate Walsh (whose own nuptials Heigl attended in September).
Kelly proposed to Heigl in June 2006 by presenting her with a pear-shaped diamond ring by Ryan Ryan. The couple had met in the spring of 2005, when Heigl played Kelley's love interest in the music video for "Only You." Kelley then went on to write "Katie's Song" for the actress.
Heigl, whose breakout film
Knocked Up told the story of an unexpected pregnancy, has said she's "super excited" about having a family and suggested she and Kelley might start trying after a year of marriage.
Until they take that next step, Heigl and Kelley will keep busy being the perfect match they are. As T.R. Knight has told TV Guide, "They're wonderful and they're a great couple. And happy. So that's great." -
