Former movie producer Peter Guber is in "serious negotiations" to purchase Ted Turner's WCW wrestling operation, according to Electronic Media. Not too big a surprise, given that Guber's Mandalay Sports Entertainment is already involved in wrestling-related projects with former WCW topper Eric Bischoff and child-actor-turned-producer Jason Hervey. Hervey, godson of veteran wrestler Terry Funk, played bratty older brother Wayne Arnold on ABC's The Wonder Years (1988-93). Let's hope this all leads to a wrestling match between Hervey and TV brother Fred Savage.
