Jeff Foxworthy and Fox are revving up for an animated pilot about a dysfunctional family set in the world of NASCAR.
The comedian, who's also host of the net's
Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?, is writing and producing the show with Nancy Hower and John Lehr (
10 Items of Less),
Variety says.
Foxworthy will also be voicing one of the parts, but no other voice actors have yet been announced. So far, the proposed series sounds like a cross between
Talladega Nights and
