FX is pulling the plug on the critically acclaimed drama
Nip/Tuck.
But don't panic. There are still quite a few hours of surgery and self-esteem left to air. Eight new episodes - the remainder of the strike-interrupted Season 5 - will hit the air in January 2009. Then, a final, 19-episode sixth season will wrap up the series in early 2011.
John Landgraf, the netlet's president and general manager, announced that series creator Ryan Murphy will remain on board as
Nip/Tuck's showrunner through the final episodes. -
