Eminem Plans Tell-all Book

It seems that
8 Mile didn't give us the
whole semiautobiographical story. A British publisher has announced that Eminem is planning to release a memoir titled
Eminem: The Way I Am in the U.K. in October. The book will include sketches, photographs, lyrics and journal entries from the enigmatic rapper. He pretty much dropped out of the spotlight in 2005 after releasing a greatest-hits collection, announcing his "retirement" (a desperately relative term in the hip-hop industry - cough, cough, Jay-Z), and being hospitalized for pneumonia this year.
As usual, no Eminem news can exist without a beef of some sort, and it seems Slim Shady's camp is a mite peeved at Orion Books for the timing of its announcement of the project. "There is no firm release date scheduled, although it is anticipated to arrive in the latter part of this year," a rep told MTV News. "It's unfortunate that someone who does not have intimate knowledge of [the project] felt compelled to jump the gun on announcing it." Me-ow! Back to your corners!
No word yet on how or if Christina Aguilera, Britney Spears, Carson Daly, Fred Durst and Triumph the Insult Comic Dog will figure into the project, but I'm sure he'll send them nothing but well wishes.
Will you buy Eminem's memoir? Or is E a quantity best heard and not read? -
