Deadwood's Trixie Inhabits Sci Fi's Caprica

Paula Malcolmson, best known to TV fans from her run on Deadwood, has landed the female lead in Caprica, Sci Fi Channel's prequel to Battlestar Galactica. Per the Reporter, Malcolmson will play Amanda, a surgeon who moonlights as a double agent.

The TV-movie/backdoor series pilot, set 50 years pre- BSG, will follow both the evolution of the Cylon race and a feud between two families. - MWM
