Chris Daughtry by Theo Wargo/WireImage.com

Turns out it is over - the tabulating, that is. Idol finalist Chris Daughtry's band sold 3.2 million copies of their self-titled debut, making it Billboard's most popular album of the year. Placing second was Akon's Konvicted (2.7 mil), followed by Fergie's The Dutchess (2.4 mil), the Hannah Montana soundtrack (2.5 mil) and Carrie Underwood's Some Hearts (2.3 mil).

The title of No. 1 single goes to Beyoncé's "Irreplaceable," with Rihanna's "Umbrella" playing runner-up. Gwen Stefani's "Sweet Escape" came in at No. 3, followed by Fergie's "Big Girls Don't Cry" and T-Pain's "Buy U A Drank (Shawty Snappin')."
