DA BOMB

U2's Bono

Dismantling an atomic bomb apparently requires a lot of gold-plated gramophones. U2 rocked Wednesday night's Grammy Awards, besting the rest with five wins (including album of the year), while Mariah Carey, snubbed in such major contests as best record, song and album, was only able to parlay her pack-leading eight nods into three trophies. Among those who miffed Mimi: Kelly Clarkson's "Since U Been Gone" garnered honors for female pop vocalist, while Green Day's "Boulevard of Broken Dreams" was named record of the year. The list of winners can be found, no, not in Sly Stone's Mohawk, but here.
