Criss Angel Previews His Tantalizing New Mindfreak

Never let it be said that
Criss Angel thinks small. After "walking" across a swimming pool in Season 2 of
Criss Angel: Mindfreak (Wednesdays at 10 pm/ET, A&E), the illusionist ups the ante on tonight's fourth-season premiere by traipsing across Nevada's Lake Mead. "[Since] I walked on the pool, nearly 20 million people have watched it on YouTube," says Angel, who rivals P.T. Barnum for self-promotion. "It's the most-watched magic clip in the history of the Internet." Assuming he doesn't drown, Angel has something even bigger planned for next week's show - a live escape from an imploding building. "I'll be on a balcony, manacled," he says. "That building is going to go whether I'm in it or not." We're betting he survives, since his lavish Cirque du Soleil Las Vegas stage show, "Criss Angel: Believe," is slated to open in the fall. "I signed a deal for 4,600 shows for the next 10 years," he says. "But who's counting?" -
