The pilot and co-pilot killed in the Learjet crash that injured
Travis Barker and
DJ AM died from smoke inhalation and burns and two other passengers died from crash-related injuries, a coroner said Monday.
The Lexington County coroner said the pilot, Sarah Lemmon, and co-pilot, James Bland, of the Learjet died from smoke inhalation and burns, while Barker's assistant, Chris Baker, and bodyguard, Charles Still, were killed by injuries from the impact,
The Associated Press reports.
Federal officials said on Sunday that the crew thought a tire blew and tried to abort the takeoff but couldn't stop the plane.

Mandy Moore has flown out to be at his bedside during his recovery. The singer-actress jetted out to visit AM in the Joseph Still Burn Center in Augusta, Ga.
Moore and AM began dating in early 2007, shortly after he ended his relationship with Nicole Richie. They split amicably after about two months. No word on how long Moore will remain in Georgia. -
