Christian Bale Won't Face Assault Charges

Christian Bale will not face charges in connection to an
assault claim by his mother and sister,
The Associated Press reports.
Britain's Crown Prosecution Service said in a statement that there was insufficient evidence to warrant a conviction or further action.
Bale was arrested in London on July 22 after his mother, Jenny, and sister, Sharon, accused him of assaulting them in his Dorchester Hotel room the evening prior. The reported altercation occurred before the 34-year-old was to attend the
Dark Knight premiere. Authorities allowed Bale to attend the event and questioned him the next day.
The actor was released on bail and denied all allegations. -
