Hell's Kitchen host nearly plunged to his death while shooting his British show
The F Word in Iceland recently.
According to the (U.K.)
Sun, Ramsay slipped as he was climbing and fell in a creek, where the weight of his boots kept him underwater. "I thought I was a goner," he told the
Sun. "I'm an extremely good swimmer, but I couldn't get to the surface. I was panicking and my lungs were filling with water."
He was eventually pulled to safety by his TV crew. Ramsay was treated for a leg injury but was not seriously injured - though his wife, Tana, was "extremely p---ed off" when she learned of his misadventure.
