With Charlie's Angels approaching the $100 million mark at the box office, Columbia Pictures is speeding up plans for a sequel, Variety reports. Execs have already met with producer and star Drew Barrymore and are expected to make screenwriter John August (who shared writing credit on the original) a seven-figure deal to pen the follow-up. Director McG, as well as stars Barrymore, Cameron Diaz, Lucy Liu and Bill Murray, has yet to sign on. Liu, meanwhile, received a brand new Porsche from the studio as a 'thank you' for her part in the film's phenomenal success.
