Bones Rocks the House!

Move over, Simon Cowell. Booth and Brennan are doing their own kind of judging when they take on a music-biz homicide in tonight's episode of
Bones. "L.A.'s open-mic nightsare very intense and really competitive," explains executive producer
Hart Hanson of the case's inspiration. "We thought, 'There's a good venue for Bones.' Then we thought we might as well hit up the
Idol scene [for singers]."
So
Idol fans should keep an eye out for Season 5's
Ace Young and last year's
Brandon Rogers in guest spots as aspiring warblers, as well as a little crooning from
Emily Deschanel's notoriously uptight Brennan. "She sings 'Girls Just Want to Have Fun,' " laughs Hanson. "It's funny because Emily is a good singerand Brennan is not."
Thankfully, she still has her day job with Booth, because Hanson hints that more than just the music is about to die down in D.C. "The ending is pretty shocking." -
