Bachelorette: Runner-Up Will Make the “Perfect” Bachelor

Bachelorette DeAnna Pappas with her newly betrothed love Jesse Csincsak by her side proclaimed that her second choice, Jason Mesnick, will make the "perfect catch."

Pappas and Csincsak told the Yo on E! radio show that the new Bachelor would make a wonderful mate.

As for the new crew of ladies who will vie for his attention, Pappas chimed in: "He needs... a woman who is down to earth and doesn't care about all the business going around, because Jason's normal."

Mesnick definitely agrees with that statement. "I am just the most regular guy you could ever come across, and for this to be happening to me is unbelievable," he said. "All I am missing, really, is someone to share it all with. And what this gives me is a chance to find that."

But the ladies won't have to worry about and DeAnna baggage. Mesnick said he will be bringing an open mind (and heart) to the table this season.

"I haven't dated at all since DeAnna," he said. "I wanted to give myself the time to heal so that when I got out there again I was really ready to give whoever I am with the respect and total attention she deserves. And I am ready. I am through it and open to giving these girls everything I can to find the one that is right for me."

Since Mesnick has a little boy, Ty, Pappas said the "right one" better be into kids.

"He's the most important thing in Jason's life," she said.
