Christina Aguilera and hubby Jordan Bratman on Friday welcomed their first child - a boy,
People is reporting. As first spilled by E! Online, the couple texted friends and family to announce their news: "Baby has arrived. Mom and Dad are doing well!"
By successfully propagating, the couple on Friday joined the ranks of
Nicole Richie (
see related story) and
Courtney Thorne-Smith, both of whom also birthed them some babies on the same day.
According to Jim's Thorne-Smith and husband Roger Fishman on Friday welcomed their first child together, a son named Jacob Emerson. Given the number of new actor/singer/celeb babies hitting maternity wards today, it's only a matter of time before a new era of budding celebutantes will be taking over.
