90210 Bringing Back Trevor Donovan for Multi-Episode Arc

Former 90210 series regular Trevor Donovan is returning to America's favorite zip code one year after getting the boot from the CW drama, Zap2it.com reports.

Although Teddy packed his bags and moved east at the beginning of Season 4, he returned in the season finale when Silver (Jessica Stroup) asked her ex-boyfriend-turned-gay BFF to father her child. Silver was hoping to get knocked up soon after she decided to undergo preventive cancer treatments that will leave her sterile.

Donovan, 33, is scheduled to appear in at least the first two episodes of Season 5, but he may come back for more depending on scheduling. He is up for the role of Finnick in the sequel to The Hunger Games: Catching Fire.

The big question is: will Teddy actually agree to become Silver's baby daddy? That remains to be seen.

The new season of 90210 premieres on Monday, Oct. 8 at 8/7c on the CW.
