Jim Carrey and his ex-wife have resolved a child support dispute involving their 15-year-old daughter. Melissa Carrey claimed in court papers that $10,000 a month was not "sufficient" to meet the needs of their daughter Jane, who was suffering without such bare necessities as personal security, a fitness trainer and Pilates equipment. Denis Leary has inked a deal with Comedy Central to produce a series of celebrity roasts, beginning with his own. The Comedy Central Roast of Denis Leary will be taped June 26 for an Aug. 10 broadcast. Michael J. Fox, James Gandolfini, Elizabeth Hurley, Colin Quinn, Jon Stewart and Christopher Walken are expected to attend. read more


Viewers have a crush on Mr. Personality. The premiere of Fox's latest dating show averaged 12.2 million viewers on Monday, second only to CBS's Everybody Loves Raymond. O.J. Simpson is putting his search for Nicole's killer on hold to star in his own Osbournes-esque reality show. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Texas-based Urban America Television Network announced that it will distribute a 13-week series about the former football great to its 75 independent broadcast TV stations beginning in June. The series will chronicle Simpson's daily life in Miami using footage collected over several months of filming in 2001 and 2002. read more


Katie Couric isn't the only Today staffer trading places with well-known TV personalities next month. On Tuesday's Today show, Couric — who will swap jobs with Tonight Show host Jay Leno on May 12 — hinted that other members of the Today team (Matt Lauer, Al Roker) would play musical chairs that week. read more


Madonna's 10th album of original material, American Life, arrives in stores today. Reviews for the CD have been mostly positive, with USA Today's Edna Gundersen raving that the singer's "philosophical striptease act is a true revelation." Law & Order Romance?

With nearly 300 episodes under its belt, Law & Order may soon be forced to rethink its long-held policy prohibiting interoffice hanky-panky. (We've seen more action on Touched by an Angel for chrissake!) In the meantime, a girl — in this case, castmember Elisabeth Rohm (ADA Serena Southerlyn) — can fantasize. Rohm believes Serena and Jack (Sam Waterston) would acquit themselves nicely in the sack.

"He's brilliant, and I think Serena identifies with people who are older than her," she tells TV Guide Online. "She wants to learn; she's a sponge. And she really looks up to him. So, she'd probably have an intellectual crush — not to mention that he's very cute and charming."
