The death of 27-year-old actor Jonathan Brandis has been officially ruled a suicide. According to a coroner's report, the SeaQuest DSV star hung himself with a nylon rope in the hallway of his Los Angeles apartment complex on Nov. 11. He was found unconscious that night and rushed to a hospital, where he died the next day. Most recently, Brandis had a starring role in the ABC drama pilot 111 Gramercy Park. read more


MSNBC has muzzled Pat Buchanan. The struggling cable news net axed the conservative politico's talk show Buchanan & Press, although a rep says both Buchanan and Bill Press will continue to serve as contributors. read more


Fresh off that Lucky setback, John Corbett has been tapped to star in an untitled ABC drama pilot set at a luxury hotel in the Bahamas. Corbett will play the hotel's manager. read more


Country crooner Glen Campbell, who was arrested in Phoenix on Monday on suspicion of drunken driving, hit and run, and aggravated assault, is asking for the public's forgiveness. In a statement, the 67-year-old entertainer said, "Yesterday I was arrested and put in jail. Even at my age, I learned a valuable lesson. I apologize to my wife, my family, my friends and my fans." read more


Wynonna Judd, who was arrested earlier this month and charged with drunken driving, married her longtime bodyguard D.R. Roach on Saturday in Leiper's Fork, Tenn. It's the second marriage for both. read more


Speaking of Michael Jackson, a Superior Court judge Tuesday issued a temporary order barring Santa Monica-based XtraJet from releasing secret videotape of the self-proclaimed King of Pop conferring with attorney Mark Geragos as they flew from Las Vegas to Santa Barbara for his surrender. The video — which featured no audio — allegedly showed Jackson appearing relaxed and calm as he taught Geragos how to moonwalk. read more


Rocker Meat Loaf underwent heart surgery over the weekend after collapsing on a London stage last week. The 56-year-old "Bat Out Of Hell" crooner was reportedly suffering from Wolff-Parkinson-White Syndrome, a defect of the heart that causes an irregular heartbeat. read more
