In an impressive off-network sale, the outlets worked together to snag the Emmy-winning series for $800,000 per episode in total from separate deals.
30 Rock also fielded offers from TBS and E! While the portion of the fee that Comedy Central fronted is not specified,
Variety reports it to be one of the highest in cable-syndication history for a comedy — though it's reportedly less than the $750,000 Lifetime paid for
How I Met Your Mother and the $800,000 FX shelled out for
Two and a Half Men.
