24's New Season Calls Another Time-out

James Morrison, Mary Lynn Rajskub and Kiefer Sutherland by Albert Watson/Fox
Fox's
24, which already saw production on its seventh season postponed by the nearly wholesale
scrapping of an Africa-based location shoot/storyline, has again stopped the clock. At last count, says the
Reporter, cameras were scheduled to begin rolling on Aug. 27, but instead they will fire up no sooner than Sept. 10, to allow the writers more time to bank enough scripts.
In happier
24 news, a little birdie (who looks and dresses like Ausiello) tells me that some cool casting news may be just around the bend. Stay tuned.
