TVGuide.com users have named their favorite new show — and they're positively batty about it!Fall TV Popularity Contest , asking users which shows they liked and which they didn't. The competition was fierce, but after nearly 350,000 votes were cast, a champion has emerged: Fox's Gotham!The Batman prequel series, which stars Ben McKenzie as a young Jim Gordon who works against and alongside nascent versions of such supervillains as the Penguin (Robin Lord Taylor), the Riddler (Cory Michael Smith) and Catwoman (Camren Bicondova) as he tries to fix a corrupt city, received a 77 percent approval rating from TVGuide.com users. The show, which was easily the most anticipated new show of the season, recently had its episode order increased to a full 22-episode season. Gotham follows in the footsteps of previous Popularity Contest winners Sleepy Hollow, Arrow and Revenge.Forever, the CW's comic book adaptation The Flash, and CBS'Scorpion, all of which have also received full-season pickups. Forever, which stars Ioan Gruffudd and Alana De La Garza, scored a 76 percent approval rating, while the Grant Gustin-fronted Flash and Scorpion, which stars Elyes Gabel as the leader of a team of super-geniuses recruited by the government to fight high-tech crime, tied with 72 percent positive votes.Also putting in a strong showing: CBS' NCIS: New Orleans (64 percent) the ABC's How to Get Away with Murder (60 percent), andStalker (57 percent). Mulaney, which earned 63 percent of negative votes. Also receiving mostly negative votes were ABC's Cristela (57 percent) and Manhattan Love Story (55 percent), NBC'sBad Judge (53 percent) and Marry Me (52 percent) and CBS' The McCarthys (43 percent). Although NBC ordered more episodes ofMarry Me, none of those shows have received a full-season pickup. Manhattan Love Story and Bad Judge have already been canceled, while Mulaney had its episode order of 16 cut to 13 and was recently moved to a different timeslot. See the full rankings below.
