Awards season is slowly — but surely — revving up.
The 70th Annual Golden Globe Awards will be broadcast on Sunday, Jan. 13 on NBC, the Hollywood Foreign Press Association announced Tuesday.

The ceremony will again take place from the Beverly Hilton Hotel and air live on both coasts at 8 ET/5 PT. Nominees will be announced at 8 ET/ 5 PT on Thursday, Dec. 13.
Last year's telecast, hosted by the third time by Ricky Gervais, averaged 16.9 million viewers.
