Keck's Exclusives: Mormons Invade the White House!

A couple of Mormons are on their way to the White House, and I'm not talking about Mitt and Ann Romney (or am I?). NBC's midseason White House-set sitcom, 1600 Penn, starring Broadway's original Book of Mormon star Josh Gad, is welcoming another original Mormon co-star.

Fresh-faced actor Rory O'Malley (who played BOM's closeted gay missionary Elder McKinley) will guest star as a rule-abiding White House tour guide who competes with First Son Skip (Gad) to offer the best tour to visitors.
O'Malley brought down the house on Broadway (and collected a Tony nomination) with his "Turn It Off" ditty, which addressed Elder McKinley's struggles to downplay his homosexuality. It should be fun seeing these two old pals set loose in the halls of 1600 Penn. And I'll be on set with the boys next week to offer you a future first look!
