Together they concoct a plan to free the wolf pack, but they ultimately are defeated by the animals themselves, who don't care to leave the security of their cage. The film delivers its message with grace and subtlety, and the story is told with genuine feeling for its characters (including the

wolf pack) while adding a nice comic touch. Another fine example of what an imaginative low-budget filmmaker can do.
