Jake Bateman (Michael O'Keefe) and Barney (Paul Rodriguez) are two New York City hustlers who get fed up with freezing winters and decide to head for Palm Beach, Florida. They meet Olivia Farragut (Lucinda Jenney), a beautiful heiress who runs a school that is in deep financial trouble.

When Jake learns that she can only collect her inheritance if she marries a perfect gentleman approved by her uncle (Dan O'Herlihy), he decides to become a gentleman. This tasteless film derives most of its humor from L.A. stand-up comic Rodriguez as he spouts intolerable racial slurs, revolting

sexual innuendo, and plays obnoxious practical jokes. Director John Byrum apparently was so enthralled with the comedic talents of his stars that he allowed them to improvise at will. This may explain the sloppy visuals and wretched editing of this ugly film as the crew scrambled desperately to

cover the action without interrupting the flow of comedic inspiration.
