Based on an adult graphic novel by well-known erotic illustrator Milo Manara, this comic sex farce dares to speak an unvarnished truth: People only go to the gym in order to get laid. Devoted to improving the pleasure of all mankind, scientists develop a top-secret box that causes erections and orgasms when pointed at genitals. This device is fortuitously dropped from an airplane and into the storage room of a financially strapped fitness center, the Body Beautiful Gym. As owner William Haywood (Robert Donovan) haggles with yuppie-barracuda Margo (Nina Leichtling) over a sale price, loyal employees Linda (Gabriella Hall) and Ben (David Chielens) discover the gizmo that brings a smile to everyone's e-zone. Linda's new membership campaign, which revolves around a workout that stimulates sex drive, turns Body Beautiful into a money-making proposition. The orgasm device keeps members happy as they sweat. Furious at being cut out of the bonanza, Margo sends her minions to sabotage Haywood's gym equipment just as his workouts are becoming the talk of the town. Linda and Ben plot to use the orgasmo-box to thwart Margo, never thinking that the rightful owners of the sexual-enhancement device might be looking to reclaim their property and deprive the gym of its key selling point. The well-toned cast that prances through this witless display of writhe-and-shine gymnastics appear to have been selected for good looks and abysmal acting ability. Seeing various performers shudder suggestively on exercise bikes and Stairmasters is neither erotic nor funny; in fact, it's downright distasteful.
